Allison Harding comes from Portsmouth and trained at The Arts Educational Drama Department.Her extensive Theatre credits include; Betty in BLONDE BOMBSHELLS OF 1943 (TEG Productions/Octagon Bolton), HONK (The Watermill), Mrs. Begleiter in IT'S A FINE LIFE, Lady Macbeth in MACBETH, Martha in WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, TWO, ROOM AT THE TOP, CURSES, CINDERELLA, BRIEF ENCOUNTER, MIDDLE-AGE SPREAD, THE BEGGARS OPERA, BRIGHTON ROCK, IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR and JACK THE RIPPER (all for the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch). Allison played Val in THE MARRIAGE BED, Babs in IN THE BUNKER WITH THE LADIES, Arabella in IN THE PARLOUR WITH THE LADIES, Jaz in CRAZY LADY, Harriet in HER ACHING HEART and the Sheriff of Nottingham in ROBYN HOOD (all for the Drill Hall, London).Allison also played Sister Mary Hubert in NUNSENSE (Eastbourne Theatres), toured Ireland as Mrs. Lovett in TODD! THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET (Kabosh), played Nancy in OLIVER (Lyric Theatre, Belfast), Dunyasha in THE CHERRY ORCHARD (Bristol Old Vic.), Queenie in FROM A JACK TO A KING and Miranda in the legendary RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET both in the West End Original Casts.She has worked for all the major Repertory Companies including Birmingham Rep., New Wolsey Ipswich, Theatr Clwyd, The Crucible Sheffield, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Century Theatre Keswick and the New Vic.
